Bond’s largest and most active sporting club brings you more action, more excitement and more physically gruelling exercise than ever!
The soccer club is host of the Bond World Cup where quasi nations battle it out for Bond Glory! Games are played each weekend with each team having individual training times.
Futsal is held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the sports hall from 4-6pm (excluding certain periods when the sports hall is used for mid-sems, grad and end sems).
Matches for the semesterly futsal tournament are held on specific Sundays throughout the semester. Get your interest in early to avoid disappointment!
Every semester we try to accommodate women with an interest in soccer by providing a casual and fun girls only 5-a-side competition on Bond’s smaller field. Again, get your interest in early!
The soccer club sees a lot of talent come through and we try to capitalise on this as much as possible by putting together top teams to participate in both the Northern University Games during the second semester and the Australia University Games during the third semester.
Apart from spectacular grand finals of each event, the soccer club continues to look for new areas of providing a fun and social environment for everyone. Whether this be broadcasting the World Cup or putting together console FIFA 10 comps, you’ll be sure to find something that fills your boots.
